LDN was first registered on 1st March 2000 and was meticulously serviced by a Jaguar Main Dealer as well as being treated with Supagard, fitted with a Jaguar Tracker and etched with a security number to prevent theft!
The S-type lacks the large bulky sills at the base of the doors which are present in the X308 XJ8 and is therefore much more suitable for my husband who is disabled and found it difficult to gain entry to and exit from the XJ models. The newer X350 XJ and its replacement (the X358) both follow the S-type with this revised styling, but unfortunately we were not able to afford an X350 so we moved across to the S-type!
We have owned LDN since July 2007, and so far we have been very pleased with the performance and handling of the S-type and would now be happy to stay with this model and when the time comes, to move onto a newer “face-lift” S-type.
A more detailed description of LDN can be found in the October 2007 and the February 2008 issue of “The Jaguar Enthusiasts Club” magazine.
As we frequently change our Jaguars in order to gain more first-hand knowledge of these cars, anybody interested in purchasing this high specification S-type, in first class condition, with full service history can contact us via Steve at SKJagtech.
