C531VRW is a 1984 3.6 Jaguar XJ-S Cabriolet with manual transmission, which currently belongs to a member of The Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, and as the pictures show, has recently undergone extensive restoration, including a respray.
Some of the parts used in the restoration of this Cabriolet were taken from a 1983 XJS Coupe Also pictured above, the history of which is due to be printed in The Jaguar Enthusiasts Club magazine, in the not too distant future. It is interesting to note that both the donor and recipient cars were originally registered in Coventry.
The XJ-S Cabriolet, in 3.6 form, is an interesting and rare car, having a production run of only 4 years which lasted from Oct 83 to Sept 87, finally being replaced with a fully convertible car, as demand for convertibles re-established itself.
The owner is hoping to realize £3500 from the sale of this relatively rare form of XJS and we hope that by bringing it to the attention of fellow enthusiasts through the pending magazine article and the gallery at SKJagtech, that it will go to a good home with a fellow enthusiast.
Please note that neither SKJagtech, nor Letitia Mace have been involved with the restoration of this XJSC, and therefore anyone interested in purchasing it must make their own enquiries and investigations as necessary.
